In a recent development, the management of Al-Qadisiyah Saudi Club,
owned by the leading oil company Aramco, has reached an agreement with
Spanish player Nacho Fernandez from Real Madrid. According to Spanish newspaper
“Marca”, Fernandez will represent the club for two years starting from
the upcoming season, earning a yearly salary of ten million euros with
the newly promoted Saudi Roshan League team.
The veteran defender underwent a medical examination days ago
in preparation for his official signing with the Eastern club,
and the official announcement is expected in the coming days.
The 34-year-old Spaniard, who joined
Real Madrid’s first team in 2012, has played in 364 matches, scoring 16 goals and providing ten assists,
winning a total of 26 titles with the club.
