Al-Ettifaq’s first football team will play two friendly matches against Neom and Egypt’s Al-Ismaily as part of their
preparations for the upcoming season. This follows the completion of their training camp in Spain, according to Saudi press sources.
The team will face Neom on August 13, followed by a match against Al-Ismaily on August 17, in celebration of the Egyptian club’s
centennial anniversary.
During their training camp in Spain, Al-Ettifaq played five friendly matches. They secured victories against Intercity (2-0) and
Almeria B (2-0), drew with Tottenham’s U21 team (2-2), and suffered losses to Cartagena (0-2) and Real Oviedo (2-3).
Al-Ettifaq is set to return to Dammam on Wednesday to continue their preparations for their first Saudi Pro League match of
the season against Al-Shabab, scheduled for August 24 at Al-Shabab’s home ground.
